Medieval Weaponry

A boy trying on a 14th century soldier's helmet as a member of the "Neville Household" reenactment group demonstrates the effectiveness of assorted medieval weaponry. Members of the Neville Household spent a day at Peveril Castle in Derbyshire explaining the different ways English soldiers of the time would incapacitate both the French and other Englishmen. "Children love the gory bits," explained one of the soldiers.
