David Hockney during a visit to his home city of Bradford in Yorkshire. He was combining the opening of a new exhibition with a visit to his mother, who he also photographed for the exhibition launch. He took great pains to wear his baseball cap at all times while in Bradford. The photo was taken through the leaves of a potted palm brought in for the occasion. |
