Candles made by Deaf and Blind Children

A sensory-impaired child, who is deaf and has very little sight, singing a Christmas carol with his teacher. The child joined his schoolfriends from a deaf-blind unit to make candles out of a dead tree from the local woods. His teacher pointed out that the smells of the wood and the candles, the bright lights and colours and even the feel of the wood were valuable experiences for all the children in the group.
